Andres started working in the remodeling industry at age 18. He later moved into commercial painting and managed large apartment complex projects.
In 2021, he explored epoxy flooring and concrete coatings and was inspired by their creative possibilities. He first gained experience with epoxy countertops, completed hundreds of projects, and started his epoxy business in 2023.
Andres values the opportunity each project provides to create something unique. Over the years, he has built a successful business through hard work, professional workmanship, and strong relationships with his clients. His knowledge and skills have been developed through years of hands-on experience and practical work in the field.
As his experience grew, other installers began reaching out to him for advice and support. This inspired him to start teaching and sharing his knowledge with others. Andres enjoys helping installers build their skills, avoid mistakes, and gain confidence in their work.

Epoxy is a high-build resin known for its exceptional adhesion and chemical resistance. In contrast, polyaspartic technology offers significantly faster cure times and superior UV stability, which prevents the floor from yellowing in sun-exposed areas.
Generally, residential two-car garages can be completed in a single day with a hybrid system, and homeowners can walk on the surface in 6 to 12 hours and park vehicles within 24 to 72 hours.
Professional installers use planetary diamond grinders or shot blasters to create a specific International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) profile, which is critical because over 90% of coating failures are caused by improper preparation that acid etching cannot fix.
Utah is a major center for decorative concrete education, with several physical training centers. Epoxy Classes Utah in Salt Lake City provides an intensive 3-day hands-on certification program covering preparation, installation, and business development.
These coatings can handle Utah’s freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing salts like magnesium chloride by using chemical-resistant basecoats and moisture vapor barrier primers to prevent delamination and osmotic blistering.
